A home with room for everyone.

Some homes need a little updating. Others need a fresh start. For Sawgrass, that meant taking the home down to the studs and rethinking the layout from the ground up. Relocating the kitchen changed how the main living spaces connect, creating a more natural flow for gathering, cooking, and spending time together.

At the center of it all, an oversized island, custom inset cabinetry, paneled appliances, and a fluted hood designed specifically for the space give the kitchen its character. Just beyond, a concealed door opens to the scullery, where additional cabinetry, a second sink, extra appliances, and a dedicated coffee station keep everyday essentials close without competing with the main kitchen.

That same transformation carries throughout the home. New flooring and lighting, custom millwork, and architectural ceiling details bring a sense of continuity from room to room. In the foyer, full-wall millwork, updated stair railings, and a dramatic chandelier create a memorable welcome and a glimpse of what's to come.

Two spaces. Two personalities.

A home should bring a family together, but it should also make room for the things that make each person unique. Just off the kitchen, his den offers a place to unwind, complete with tongue-and-groove paneling, a built-in dry bar, wine storage, and custom bench seating. A glass Crittall-style partition adds architectural interest, while vintage golf clubs and a golf bag make the space unmistakably his.

Her home office takes a different direction. Closing off a second doorway allowed for a more intentional layout, with custom built-ins, wainscoting, grasscloth wallpaper, and two built-in benches with integrated storage. The result is a space with its own personality, designed around the way she works and uses the room.

Though different in style, both spaces feel at home within the larger design. They bring a more personal layer to the renovation, making sure the home feels like the people who live in it.

The details of daily life

A whole-home renovation isn't just about the rooms that make the biggest impression. It's also about the spaces that make everyday life feel a little easier and more enjoyable.

In the family room, the homeowners' existing furniture stays, complemented by new built-ins, a stone fireplace surround, a coffered ceiling, and updated window treatments. The mudroom and laundry room bring together practical custom storage for coats, shoes, and backpacks with herringbone tile and coordinating striped wallpaper that add color and personality.

Even the bathrooms have a character of their own. The half bath pairs a custom vanity with grasscloth wallpaper and distinctive sconces, while the children's bathroom brings in playful tile patterns, color, and a custom vanity.

From the larger architectural changes to the details woven into each room, Sawgrass brings together a home that feels connected, personal, and ready for the way this family lives.
